Shenitra Lashawn Freeman was affectionately known to those who loved her dearly as "Shawn". Shawn was born in Alanta, GA. She was educated in the Atlanta Public School System. At a very early age Shawn develop a love for God. During the course of her life, she held corporate jobs with Web.com, Office Depot and most recently Legacy Restaurant Partners. At the time of her transition, she was enrolled in Culinary Arts school.
Outside of her professional life, Shawn was a devoted aunt, cousin, friend, classmate and co-worker. Shawn was the most loving, supportive and caring sister a person could ever wish for. She would give her last to help anyone. Though firm with her speech, Shawn could quote the bible to apply to any situation anyone faced in their lives.
Shawn was proceeded in death by her mother Mrs. Linda Denise Streeter; grandmother Mrs. Helen Streeter; grandfather Mr. Jesse Freeman and her sister Mavis Lewis.
She leaves behind her sisters Ms. Anitra Freeman and Sondra Freeman; brothers Antwan Freeman, Mark Phillips and Anthony Freeman and her grandmother Mrs. Annie Freeman; also left were a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, friends, and colleagues to cherish her memories and celebrate her life.
