Sharon Denise Corbin

With deep love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend - Sharon Denise Corbin, who entered eternal rest on September 12, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born on November 7th, 1968, in Sylacauga, Alabama, Sharon was a radiant light to all who knew her. She lived a life full of grace, compassion, and had unwavering love for her family and close friends. Her laughter could brighten any room, and her kindness left a lasting mark on every heart she touched.

Sharon will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, dedication to always supporting her family, her grinding passion, generosity, and family gatherings. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. She carried a joy for life that was contagious to all around her.

She is survived by her children Erica and Gena Corbin and her grandchildren, Quavious, Azariah, Jachin, Ny’Davion, Archellius, Nehemiah, and A’myraquel. She is also survived by her siblings Angela Corbin, Lorenzo Harris, Sherell Elly, Lucius Culpepper, and Amelia Holly. She is preceded in death by her mother Bessie Elly, Robert Charles Holly, and siblings – Thaddeus Corbin & Ariminta Elly. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her love and legacy will remain forever in our hearts.

In honor of Sharon, the family asks that any special donations be made to Angela and any flowers be sent to Angela as well. Overall, we simply ask that loved ones hold her close in their memory. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that her beautiful soul is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and watching over us with eternal love.
