Roy Walker

On April 20, 2023, God called Roy Walker aka Roy Jr. home.  Born on May 28, 1940, to the late Roosevelt Billings and Hallie Walker in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Henry McNeal Turner High School.

Roy was employed by the City of Atlanta for 18 years before retiring. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Always the life of party and the first on and last to leave the dance floor.

Roy is preceded in death by four sons, Antonio, Anthony, Rodney, and Ronald.  He is also preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister, Larry, Lamar, Charles, Porter, and Sarah. 

Roy leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Willie Nell Walker; five children, Royshell, Lucille, Darrell, Reginald, and Roger.  Four stepchildren, Horace (Louise), Ricky, Pamela, and Angela (Glenn). Four sisters Delois, Karen, Bridget and Maryann (Lucas) and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
