Rena McKnight

            Mrs. Rena McKnight was born. May 16, 1944 to the late Robert L. Chunn and Jettie Mae Chunn. She was educated in Meriwether County.

           She was married to the late Preston McKnight for 32 years until his death (1999). While living in New York she earned a certificate in cosmetology and as a substitute teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School. She was also a 43-year breast Cancer survivor.

          She leaves behind two sons Mr. &Mrs.  Robert Crawford (Keesha) and Mr. & Mrs. Adrian McKnight (Jennifer); one brother Rev. W. R. Chunn (Shirley); one sister Josephine McGee; eleven grandchildren Ebony Walker, Jermaine Lewis, Robert Crawford, JR., Jente McKnight, Roxy McKnight, Keesha Franks, La Craig Crawford, Josh Crawford, Tony Slaton, Aaron Crawford, Alyssa Crawford, Seven great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
