Phillip Lawrence Wilson

      Phillip Lawrence Wilson (affectionately known as Phil) was born in ….. Toledo Ohio, on February 25, 1952, to David and Charlie Mae Wilson. 

       Phil and his family later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, in 1970.

      After completing high school, Phil began a career with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) as a bus operator.  Though Phil thoroughly enjoyed and took pride in serving his community as a bus operator, Phil maintained a distinct desire to assist his mother, in the establishment, and inevitable success of launching their mother and son business, which was known as Aunt Buddy’s Good Cookies and Cakes.

       This mother and son duo was able to successfully market their famous baked goods all over the City of Atlanta, and throughout the State of Georgia.

      Phil was a friend to many, and those that were fortunate enough, to cross his path, truly loved and respected him.

      He proceeded in death by father David Wilson, his mother Charlie Mae Wilson and brother David Lee Wilson. 

      He is survived by his Brother Gregory D. Wilson (Sharon) adopted Sister Phonsa Williams. Nephews (Ahmad, Carl, Bryan) and Nieces (Keisha, Elissa, Amber, and Love) Special Aunt Frances Ruth. Specials Cousin Brenda (Ward) Frazier and Gary Williams. Special Friends Charles Harper and Samual Hunter. And a host of great nephews and nieces.
