Otis Beauford Jr. was born March 17, 1958 to the parents of the late Otis Beauford Sr. and the late Annie Mae Jenkins in Atlanta Georgia. Light Bulb was Otis nickname from youth. He enjoyed eating and gardening at a very young age.
Otis attended Campbell Elementary school and L. J. Price High School at the time. He got saved when he was in Alabama. He started his career with the City Of Atlanta where he worked for 35 faithful years. His hobbies were cooking, gardening, traveling and taking care of his wife, his family and his extended family. Otis met the love of his life Georgia Dewberry (Beauford)
in 2009 in Atlanta Georgia. They later married in the year 2011. Together they were aising a son, Onyx Titman. They then moved to Talbotton GA where they lived Happily Ever After. They were married for 12 beautiful years. Otis met no strangers, he was always friendly to everyone he met, and he left a lasting impression that made him unforgettable! He was a soldier in GOD’s army, and a four-star General to his family. On September 8, 2023, GOD called him home to rest from his labor of LOVE.
Otis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Georgia Lee Beauford his parents Otis Beauford Sr. and Annie Mae Jenkins, his brother Greg Peter (Uncle Pete), his great niece Toni Beauford, his sisters Kathy Buford, Catherine Morgan and his great nephew Dontae Glimer.
He leaves to cherish his memory and his legacy Onyx Titman (son); niece Debbie Beauford, nephew Demonta Beauford Sr.; great nieces Tarnesha Beauford, Tierra Beauford; great nephews Dorin, Demarcus Beauford, Deronta Beauford, and Demonta Beauford Jr. and three great, great nieces, and six great, great nephews and his devoted stepchildren Ronald (April) Dewberry, Jacqulin Dewberry, Michael Dewberry, Cynthia (James) Scott, Tallis Dewberry, and April (Thaddius) Harper, all of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother in-law Ms. Lucille Trice; his sisters and brothers in-laws Clara (Richard) Terrell, Shirley (Edward) Warrior, Lillian Brown, Quincy Edge, Grady (louse) Trice III, Eddie (Catherine) Trice, Sr.; Thorton Marshall, Cecil Copeland, Eric Trice and Calvin Cooper; sister-in-law Gloria Trice; twenty-four step-grandchildren; twenty-seven step-great grandchildren, four step-great great grandchildren and his City of Atlanta family and a host of friends and family.
