TIME TO BE BORN
Deacon Kenneth Andrew Daniel was born to the late Samuel Andrew Daniel and Mozell Crittenden Daniel on March 7th, 1951 in Atlanta, GA.
Ken was educated in the Atlanta Public School System graduating from Washington High School. At an early age his mother introduced him to Jesus and he attended First Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga. He attended Atlanta Area Tech where he got a degree as an Electrical Technician. He had a love for music and accepted a job working at V103 radio where he meet Youngblood and learned how to work the turn tables, sound systems and playing and spinning records.
Ken was an only child but he was the father of seven children. Ken meet and fell in love with the love of his life Surnonia L. Reid and they were joined in holy matrimony on April 27th, After the marriage Ken decided to continue his spiritual growth by joining Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he became the sound engineer, maintenance and later an ordained Deacon and he served faithfully until his health
Ken was a jack of all trades in addition to being a great cook. He was a D.J., he did electrical work, worked for CSX Railroad, Marta bus driver, Glazier Water, Kason Industries, he was good at working with his hands fixing things, and he retired from Meriwether County School System as a bus driver.
Ken was a person who would help you if he could.
Ken was preceded in death by his father and mother Samuel & Mozell Daniel, and his grandson Keon Daniel.
On Sunday January 26th, 2025, God in his infinite wisdom, dispatched an angle with a divine message to whisper in Ken's ear, you've fought a good fight, you've finished your course, and you've kept the faith. There is a crown of righteousness waiting for you, Come Home Ken.
Ken leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 33 years Surnonia Daniel, his Children James Leon (Tamitha) Daniel, Amelia D. Daniel, of Atlanta, Ga., Kenneth Andrew Daniel Jr., Tia C.C. Daniel, & Tiffany N. Daniel Jordan (Adrian), of Greenville, SC, Moses B. Daniel (Ryoko) of Tokyo, Japan, Revella Mozell Daniel of Chicago, IL, and his step-son Keon D. Reid of Senoia, Ga., 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law: Umeko K. Reid, six brothers-in-laws: David, Herman (Temi), Homer (Susan), Luther, Cordarious, & Mandrez Reid, two sisters in law Geneva Reid and Teresa Reid, a special friend Hilda Daniel and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ken we love you! You will be greatly missed by us all.
