Obituary
Jay Anthony Humber was born on April 5, 1959 in Atlanta, GA to the late Jay D Humbert & Bernice Edwards Humbert. He was a great son, an amazing sibling, and a wonderful uncle. Jay was affectionately known as Man. He was truly one of a kind. He loved all sports, especially golf and football.
Jay attended L J Campbell and Jessie Mae Jones Elementary Schools and was a graduate of Henry McNeal Turner High School, class of 1978, in Atlanta, GA. Jay excelled as a football and basketball player. He did not have any children of his own, but was very active in the lives of his nieces and nephews as they grew up. Jay truly loved his family and the Lord.
Jay departed this life on Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay D Humbert, his mother, Bernice Edwards Humbert, and sister Angela Renee Humbert. He leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters, Michelle Edwards Adams( Ray), Cheri Humbert Mitchell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
