Isaac Scott, Sr

Mr. Isaac Scott was born on November 7, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mrs. Ella Mae Scott.  He departed this life on September 13, 2023.

           In 1982 Isaac met Janie Sims and they began dating.  They loved each other and was always together. They shared a special love and he became her “Bubba”, and years later she became his wife.  They shared one son Isaac Scott Jr, together and his love for her allowed him to help raise her two small children Lilchandra and Marquae.

He was affectionately known as “Rat” by close family and friends. He was very outgoing and loved fishing, dancing and socializing in neighborhood clubs. With a zeal to travel he helped to establish the “Kings and Queens” Social Club in the late 80’s.

He loved working, he was employed with Coca Cola in 1967 and remained a faithful employee until his retirement in 1995.

He’s preceded in death by son Isaac Scott Jr., daughter Lilchandra D. Sims, brothers, Walter Milbrooks and Willie Scott, he’s survived by his loving wife, Janie Sims Scott, son, Marquae R. Sims (Ashley), grandchildren, Jaronte’, Marquae Jr., Kori’Anne, and Isaac. He shared a special love for nieces, Sa’Ryiah, Promise and Bella, nephew, Tristan Jr. and a host of other relatives, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
