Georgia Lee Beauford was born May 10, 1942, to the parents of Lucille Trice and the late George Hollis, Sr., she was raised by the late Grady Trice, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father’s Grady Trice, Jr., George Hollis, Sr.; her brothers Willie Trice, Sr., Kelvin T. Trice, Jerome Gosha and George Hollis, Jr.; three children Gregory, Kim and Ricardo Dewberry; two grandchildren Travis and Tony Byars; and one great grandchild Quintavius Byars and a very special friend Leonard Merkerson.
She attended Ruth Carter public school in Talbotton. She attended Bankhead Baptist church in Atlanta, Ga while she was living in Atlanta. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Talbotton, GA.
She married the late George Dewberry and to this union four children were born. She later married Otis Beauford. Georgia Lee enjoyed Shopping, church and traveling.
She was called from labor to reward on Aug 20, 2023, at her home. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she had for her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life and Legacy her loving husband Mr. Otis Beauford; her mother Mrs. Ruck Lucille Trice; her devoted children Ronald (April) Dewberry, Jacqulin Dewberry, Michael Dewberry, Cynthia (James) Scott, Tallis Dewberry, April (Thaddius) Harper and Ongy Titman, all of Atlanta, Georgia; her sisters and brothers Clara (Richard) Terrell, Shirley (Edward) Warrior, Lillian Brown, Quincy Edge, Grady (louse) Trice III, Eddic (Catherine) Trice, Sr.; Thorton Marshall, Cecil Copeland, Eric Trice and Calvin Cooper; sister-in-law Gloria Trice; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
