Flora B. Phinazee was born July 24, 1945, to the late Willie Beeks and Mary Beeks. She attended Atlanta Public Schools where she graduated from Booker T. Washington high school. Flora was a sharp dresser often called the diva.
She retired from the United Postal Workers in 1998.
She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, where she was an active member for many years.
She taught Sunday School and often worked in food service. She loves sewing and doing alterations.
Preceded her in death her beloved daughter Ms. Tracy Phinazee and her grandchild Trecy Arnold.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Larry Phinazee Sr.; her two sons Reginal Beek and Larry Phinazee Jr. (Leslie); grandchildren Byrant Sofer and Lyla White; great grandchild Za’Cari White; one sister Mrs. Gloria B. Marrison; a special niece Mrs. Valarie Tutt; one sister in-law Charlie Beeks and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
