D’Arcy Kurt Lacey

     D’Arcy Kurt Lacey was born January 6, 1968 in Waukegan, IL.  He passed Wednesday, July 29, 2020.  D’Arcy was married to Vickie Lacey (Prater) and they were together for 16 years.

    D’Arcy was “One of A Kind”!  He was loved by many.  He had a great spirit and would keep you in stitches laughing, the ultimate storyteller.  Growing up he was known as the King of “Pop-Locking”.  He kept you mesmerized by his moves and even at the age of 52, he still danced as though he was back in his teenage years, “cold blooded”!  D’Arcy always made sure you felt at home in his presence and he loved to cook.  He could make a feast out of nothing and you never left his home hungry.

   He was survived by his daughter, Darcy, his stepchildren Vestrida (Juan), Marquise and Maurice; his mother, Sandi (Darrell); his father, Dwight; and his siblings Brian, Chevonne, Deena and Dinand (Buronda) and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Fred and Grandmother Geneva.
